TECHNOLOGE OF WELDING CONNECTION

Connection style:
Heating style:
Soldering Position:
Steps of soldering:
Solding.
Manual heating with oxyacetylene torches.
Fixed horizontal position and fixed vertical position.
Cut copper tube into required lengths, make sure that the cross-section is perpendicular to the axis, then file and finish the ends.
Check the surface of the copper tube ends to be inserted into the tube joints for greasy filth, if any, please clean it with emery cloth or stainless steel velvet(Figure A.). Use carbon tetrachloride(ccl4) to clean medical-purpose tubes. Never clean medical-purpose tubes with oil-solvent.
Select special solders and soldering fluxed we provide for soldering.
Points for oxyacetylene soldering:
•  Select proper oxyacetylene torches according to the sizes of the copper tube joints. Use neutral flame to heat neat the pieces to be soldered(Figure B).
•  Heat the pieces to be soldered evenly, dip out a moderate amount of sodering flux (power) with the heated solder, and evenly daub it on the joining area of the pieces.
Feed the solder in when the temperature reaches 750-850℃(Figure C) heat the solder directly with flame.
The melted solder will fill the clearnce between the tube and joint by capillary action.
•  When the solder is completely melted, stop heating immediately to prevent the solder from continuously floweing in to clearance. Otherwise, full solder seam may not be formed.
•  During tube laying , avoid inverse soldering if possible. If that is unavoidable, point the flame to the upper part while operating inverse soldering. Wind an asbestos cord under the joints to prevent the molten solder from dripping.
Treatments after soldering
 •  Different dinds of solders may be used repeatedly on the same joint. When solding is finished, please use wet cloth to cool and wipe connection part to make the solding part steady (Figure D) . Don’t worry about to be soalded, meanwhile, can get rid of melting dregs on solding.
